Welcome to the Online Certification Guide!
Embarking on the journey of FICS certification will prove to be a fulfilling and worthwhile experience for you. However, given the breadth and depth of the standards and the myriad of relevant information, it is easy to be lost in the process.
The standards are structured according to job families and job roles. Knowing the job family and job role that is relevant to you will help you identify the set of standards and competency units you should be looking at in planning your own personal certification roadmap.
Broadly, your roadmap to seeking certification status should include one or more of the following paths:

You may choose any of the above paths for each of your competency units, depending on your existing competency in them. This online guide will begin with a short questionnaire designed to determine the job family and job role which is likely to be applicable to you.
To encourage financial institutions to participate in the FICS initiative that was developed by the industry for the industry, funding support will be provided to financial institutions which send their staff for FICS accredited training or assessment. You may click here to read more about funding.
