The SMU FICS Training in Portfolio Performance Measurement (V) aims to provide participants with the essential competencies to measure and report on portfolio and composite investment returns using industry accepted methodology and reporting of risk and return attribution.
The curriculum focuses on return calculation methodologies, composite construction and benchmarking, portfolio performance analysis, performance disclose and presentation.

Teo Mon Kean, CFA, CIPM
Mon Kean has over 20 years in the funds management industry. He is the head of Performance & Risk Management of a major asset management company, responsible for setting policies and methodologies in performance and attribution. He is instrumental in the automation of the firm's performance data and the creation of performance composites. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Honours) and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
