The SMU FICS Training: ECM – Business Development (IV) aims to provide participants with the essential competencies to support the development of new business and maintain client relationships.

The curriculum focuses on practical aspects in identifying, acquiring new business, and the process of pitching deals to win mandates.

Case studies, presentations and discussions are included to provide participants with hands-on experience in the job function, which serves to reinforce the technical knowledge and application of competency skills.

 

Trainer(s)
Our trainers are experienced professionals in investment banking, across the equity capital market value-chain, from origination, structuring, advisory to distribution. They are also experienced trainers, conducting courses in topics such as corporate finance, banking and finance.

Scope of Accreditation
The programme is accredited under Job Role IV. A person in this role would have the following job responsibilities:

• Operates in an environment which is largely non-routine, unpredictable and complex.

Who should attend?

Banking professionals in investment banking, stockbrokers, sell-side analyst, preferably with at least one year’s working experience in capital equity markets. Minimum of bachelor’s degree required.
