The SMU FICS Certificate: Financial Markets Foundation (IV) is an introductory programme that aims to provide a broad overview of financial market activities, players, products and the interrelationships between market segments.

The curriculum covers the principles, terminologies and applications of basic financial instruments (foreign exchange, money market, fixed income, equity and derivatives).

 

Unique features

Practical and essential knowledge, calculation and valuation methodology will be taught in lectures. Exercises are included to reinforce the technical knowledge and application.

Our trainers comprise veteran banking professionals with extensive experience in financial markets trading, treasury sales, structuring and marketing of bonds. They regularly conduct financial trainings in subjects related to treasury products, investments are risk management.
